Report Irrigation Damages Immediately to CVPOA

While Blue Stream is relocating their boxes under the County issued permit, in a rare occasion, you may experience an irrigation break. If you experience this, please do the following:

  1. Please turn off the irrigation for that zone or skip this zone.
  2. Immediately report the damage to the CVPOA Office at 352-382-1900. The office will alert the Blue Stream team to come out an inspect and schedule the repair.
  3. Blue Stream should be on-site within 72 hours to inspect and make the repairs necessary. Owners are asked not to have a third-party irrigation come out and make the repairs as a reimbursement by Blue Stream may not be authorized.

What is an easement?

An easement is a nonpossessory right to use and/or enter onto the real property of another without possessing it.

The easement area on the lots within Cypress Village POA contain a utility easement that runs within the property lines of the lot. This easement is used by and for utilities that include the Blue Stream project to install fiber optic throughout the community. Owners can look at their lot surveys to see where the easement runs across their lot. In some situations, the front of your home can be placed up to the back portion of the easement.

The Board of Directors did not have a decision on where the vaults can be placed within this easement area. Citrus County has dictated where these boxes are to be placed and will be inspected by the County to ensure Blue Stream has complied with the request.

While the sod may be removed from this area, the vendor should be repairing this area to grow back to the original way it was found. If owners have any concerns or need to file a report, please contact management at 352-382-1900 to have a work order filed to repair any damages that may not have been restored. Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for the repairs to take place before contacting management, as this is completed by a different team.
